About Chris Neal

Chris grew up in the Sussex countryside and had his first hawk and falcon at the age of 14. He gained his experience from his grandfather, James Warriner (Warriner meant "rabbit catcher") who flew Goshawks and Peregrines.

Chris has kept various birds of prey throughout his life including a Golden Eagle called "Ivan", and has been doing falconry displays and educational work for the
past 25 years.

He now lives with his wife Patricia in a secluded country cottage 325 mtrs. above
sea level in the beautiful Shropshire hills above Ludlow and this is where people
can experience a day out with his hawks and falcons.

Some of the prestigious venues at which he can be seen flying his birds:

Woburn Abbey, Blenheim Palace, Broadlands, Sandringham, Michelham Priory, Belvoir Castle, Thoresby Park and many many others.

Chris is also well known for his conservation work throughout the world, and has worked on a number of television programmes including:

  • Bird Bandits for ITV
  • Chasing the Tiger Wildlife on One
  • Tigers for Sale National Geographic
  • Countryfile BBC
  • Wild Guide BBC
  • Day in the Life of a Kestrel BBC
  • Nature Detectives BBC
